Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 29-September-2026
Welcome to LaunchMeLoud. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our services.
By accessing or using LaunchMeLoud, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
This policy covers everyone who uses LaunchMeLoud: startups and businesses that use our tools and hire through us, and candidates (job seekers) who create a profile, apply for jobs or are matched with startups hiring on LaunchMeLoud. If you are a candidate, section 6 explains exactly what we collect from you and what we share with startups.
1. Who We Are
LaunchMeLoud is owned and operated by INTOLAP TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD, an Indian company registered under the Companies Act, 2013.
For any privacy-related queries, you can contact us at:
Email: hello@launchmeloud.com
2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data to improve our services and provide you with a seamless experience. This may include:
- ✔️ Account Information: Name, email, phone number, company details, password.
- ✔️ Payment Information: Billing address, transaction details (processed securely via third-party payment gateways).
- ✔️ Content You Create: Posts, job listings, messages, feedback.
- ✔️ Free AI Tools (AI Market Research Report and AI Survey Builder): When you use these tools without an account, we collect your email address, which we verify with a one-time code, along with the answers you give in the chat and any files you choose to attach (for example, a pitch deck, business plan or survey notes).
- ✔️ Marketing Preference: If we ask whether you want launch tips and product updates by email, we record your answer (yes or no), when you gave it, and the exact wording of the question you were shown.
- ✔️ Candidate Profile & Job Applications: If you create a candidate profile or apply for a job posted on LaunchMeLoud, the details in your profile, your resume and the details you submit with your applications (see section 6 for the full list).
- ✔️ Survey Responses: If you answer a survey, the answers (and any contact details) you submit.
- ✔️ Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, OS, time zone, language preferences, and interactions with our platform.
- ✔️ Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, and analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to understand user behavior.
- ✔️ Hashed IP Address (Free AI Tools): When a free report or survey is generated, we store a hashed form of your IP address with it — a one-way, scrambled value, not the IP address itself. It cannot be converted back into your IP address and is used only to prevent abuse and apply fair-use limits to our free tools.
- We may receive data from third-party integrations (e.g., LinkedIn, Google) when you use such features on LaunchMeLoud.
A. Information You Provide Directly
B. Information We Collect Automatically
C. Third-Party Data
3. Why We Collect Data (Legal Basis)
We collect and process your data under the following legal bases:
- ✔️ Performance of a Contract – To provide you with access to LaunchMeLoud.
- ✔️ Legitimate Interests – For security, fraud prevention, and service improvements.
- ✔️ Consent – When you explicitly agree (e.g., email marketing, cookies).
- ✔️ Legal Compliance – To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data for:
- ✔️ Providing and improving our services
- ✔️ Processing payments and invoices
- ✔️ Sending service updates and marketing emails (if opted-in)
- ✔️ Customer support and dispute resolution
- ✔️ Security and fraud prevention
- ✔️ Compliance with legal obligations
- ✔️ Verifying your email with a one-time code, sending you your free report or survey and its link, and making sure each email address receives only one free report and one free survey
- ✔️ Generating your AI market research report or survey (see “How We Use AI” below)
- ✔️ Preventing abuse of our free tools and applying fair-use limits
How We Use AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Several LaunchMeLoud features use AI. When you use one, the information that feature needs is sent to a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI and Google) to produce the result, which we then store in your account. The features that use AI, and what they send, are:
- ✔️ Social Media Posts & Images: The instructions, tone and campaign details you provide (and any reference images you choose) are used to write post captions, generate images and fill in design templates.
- ✔️ Group Suggestions & Campaign Insights: Your post content, the names of the groups you manage, and your posts’ performance figures are used to suggest relevant groups, the best times to post and other recommendations.
- ✔️ Leads Center Insights: Only aggregated funnel figures (counts and rates) are sent — never the names, emails or other personal details of your leads.
- ✔️ Landing Pages & News: Your project or article details are used to write or improve page and article content.
- ✔️ Market Research: Your product or idea details, together with publicly available information about competitors and customer reviews, are used to produce a research report.
- ✔️ Surveys: Your survey brief is used to write survey questions, and the answers respondents submit are used to produce a summary of sentiment and suggestions for the survey owner.
- ✔️ Jobs & Applications: Job details are used to write job descriptions and job promotion posts. Resumes and applications may be processed (including by a resume-parsing service and our AI provider) to extract skills and experience and to give the employer a match score with the reasons for it.
- ✔️ Candidate Profiles: If you set up a candidate profile by answering questions out loud or by uploading a resume, your recorded answers are turned into text and, with your resume text, used to draft your profile for you to review. When a startup asks for an AI summary of how well you fit its job, your profile is sent with your name, contact details and location removed (see section 6).
- ✔️ Free AI Tools (Market Research Report and Survey Builder): The answers you give in the chat and any files you attach are used to generate your report or survey.
In all of these features:
- ✔️ We send only what the feature needs, and use the result only to provide that feature to you. We do not use your content to train our own AI models.
- ✔️ Files you attach to our free AI tools are processed only to extract the information needed. We do not keep the files themselves after processing. The generated report or survey is stored so you can view it.
- ✔️ We never send your ideas, files, reports, posts or survey answers to our email marketing provider.
- ✔️ Market research reports from our free tool are private: they are not listed publicly, but anyone you share a report’s link with can view it. Surveys are public: they are listed on LaunchMeLoud so anyone can find and answer them.
- ✔️ AI decisions are not final: AI results are suggestions. In particular, job applicant match scores only help the employer review applications — hiring decisions are made by the employer, not by AI or by LaunchMeLoud.
- ✔️ AI can make mistakes: AI-generated content, reports and scores may be inaccurate or incomplete. Please review them before relying on or publishing them.
- ✔️ We keep a record of AI usage (such as the number of requests) to operate AI credits and plan limits.
Marketing Emails From Our Free AI Tools
- ✔️ We only send you marketing emails (launch tips and product updates) if you say yes when asked. Saying no never affects your report or survey.
- ✔️ Your email address and your choice are shared with our email marketing provider so the choice is respected — if you say no, you are recorded there as unsubscribed. Only your email address and preference are shared.
- ✔️ You can change your mind at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us.
5. How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share it in the following cases:
- ✔️ With Service Providers: Payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, email services.
- ✔️ For Legal Compliance: When required by law or regulatory authorities.
- ✔️ For Business Transfers: If we merge, sell, or transfer our business.
- ✔️ With AI Providers: When you use a feature that relies on AI, the information that feature needs (see “How We Use AI” above) is shared with our AI providers (currently OpenAI and Google) solely to produce the result. Resumes submitted with job applications are also processed by a resume-parsing service.
- ✔️ With Our Email Marketing Provider: Your email address and marketing preference only — never your idea, files or report content.
- ✔️ With Startups Hiring on LaunchMeLoud (Candidates): When you apply for a job, or when a startup unlocks your recruiter-visible profile, that startup receives the details described in section 6. Apart from this and the other cases listed above, we do not share candidate data with anyone.
6. Candidates & Job Seekers
This section applies if you use LaunchMeLoud to find work: to create a candidate profile, apply for jobs, or be suggested to startups hiring on LaunchMeLoud. Candidates sign in with their email address and a one-time code sent to it — there is no password. There are two ways a startup can receive your details: as an applicant, when you apply for one of its jobs, and as a match, when we suggest you for one of its jobs and it unlocks your profile.
A. What We Collect From Candidates
- ✔️ Sign-in Details: Your email address, when you verified it, and your active sign-in sessions. To prevent abuse, we also keep a record of code requests with a hashed (one-way, scrambled) form of your IP address.
- ✔️ Profile: Name, phone number, city and headline; your current role and company, years of experience and notice period; your current and expected salary; job preferences (target roles, work modes, locations, job types, willingness to relocate and job search status); skills; work experience; projects; education; links (such as LinkedIn, GitHub or a portfolio); and your resume.
- ✔️ Optional Personal Details: Photo, date of birth, gender and marital status, only if you choose to add them.
- ✔️ Profile Setup: If you set up your profile by answering questions out loud, we turn your recorded answers into text to draft your profile. The recordings are processed in memory and are not stored. If you upload a resume during setup, we read its text for the same purpose. If you don't save a profile, the uploaded resume is deleted automatically.
- ✔️ Applications & Invitations: The jobs you apply for, the note or cover letter you send, when you applied, the application's status and any withdrawal, and the “Invite to apply” invitations you receive and how you respond.
- ✔️ What Startups Record About You: When a startup reviews your application or match, it may record a status (for example “contacted” or “not a fit”), private notes and an AI fit summary for its job.
B. Profile Visibility — Your Choice
- ✔️ Private (the default): Your profile is never suggested to startups. Only the startups whose jobs you apply for receive your details.
- ✔️ Recruiter Visible: Startups hiring on LaunchMeLoud can find you as a match for their jobs, as described in part D below.
- ✔️ You can switch between the two at any time from your profile.
C. Applicants — When You Apply for a Job
Before you apply, we tell you: “Your profile and resume will be shared with [company] for this role.” Submitting your application is your agreement to that, and we record when you agreed and the wording you were shown. The startup that posted the job, and its team members who manage the job, then receive:
- ✔️ Your name, email address, phone number, resume, your note or cover letter, a link (portfolio, LinkedIn or GitHub) and whether you are willing to relocate.
- ✔️ A summary of your profile: headline, city, skills, experience, notice period, job search status, preferred work modes and links.
- ✔️ A read-only view of your full profile, including your current role and company, work experience, projects, education, job preferences and expected salary. The startup opens it through a private link that expires after 72 hours and stops working if your application is removed.
- ✔️ Withdrawing: You can withdraw an application from your applications page. The startup will see that it was withdrawn. The application is kept as a record rather than deleted, and we cannot recall information the startup has already received.
D. Matches — When We Suggest You to a Startup
If your profile is Recruiter Visible, your email address is verified and your profile has a name plus skills or work experience, we may suggest you to startups for jobs you have not applied for:
- ✔️ How We Match: We compare your profile with each open job using automatic scoring rules (not AI) and suggest you only when the fit is good enough.
- ✔️ Before Unlocking — Anonymous: The startup sees your match score and the reasons for it, your headline, city, skills and skill levels, experience, notice period, job search status, preferred work modes, whether you are willing to relocate, and how your expected salary compares with the job's range. It does not see your name, email address, phone number, resume or links.
- ✔️ Unlocking: A startup may unlock your profile (this uses its LaunchMeLoud credits). Your approval is not asked for each unlock — choosing Recruiter Visible is your agreement to it. Once unlocked, that startup sees your name, email address, phone number, resume and links, and can open the same read-only view of your full profile that applicants' employers receive (via a private link that expires after 72 hours). An unlock applies to that startup's account, so it can see these details when you match its other jobs too.
- ✔️ Invite to Apply: After unlocking you, a startup may contact you or send you an “Invite to apply” email through LaunchMeLoud for a specific job. If you don't reply, we send one reminder after 3 days, and after 14 days the invite is marked as not answered. A startup can invite you again for the same job only once, and only after you declined or didn't answer.
- ✔️ Declining: Use the “Not interested” link in the email or your invitations page. The startup sees that you declined.
- ✔️ Accepting: If you accept the invite by applying, you become an applicant for that job and part C applies. The startup can see that you came from its matches.
- ✔️ Turning Your Profile Private: You stop being suggested as a match, and read-only profile links for unlocked matches stop working. Startups that already unlocked your profile may still have the contact details they saw.
E. AI in Candidate Features
- ✔️ Profile Setup: Your recorded answers and resume text are sent to our AI provider to transcribe your answers and draft your profile. You review the draft before saving anything.
- ✔️ Fit Summaries: When a startup asks for an AI summary of how well you fit its job (strengths and gaps), your profile is sent to our AI provider with your name, contact details and location removed. The summary is shown only to that startup.
- ✔️ Decisions Stay With People: Match scores and AI summaries only help startups review candidates. Hiring decisions are made by the startup, not by AI or by LaunchMeLoud.
F. What We Never Share With Startups
- ✔️ Your photo, date of birth, gender or marital status.
- ✔️ Your current salary (your expected salary is shared as described above).
- ✔️ Your sign-in details.
- ✔️ Any of your details with a startup you have not applied to and that has not unlocked your profile.
Startups may use candidate details only to evaluate you and contact you about their roles. Once a startup has received your details, it is also responsible for how it handles them under the privacy laws that apply to it.
G. Your Choices as a Candidate
- ✔️ Edit your profile, change its visibility, or delete your resume at any time. Deleting your resume removes the file from our storage.
- ✔️ Withdraw applications and decline invitations from your account.
- ✔️ Logging out ends your session on that device straight away.
- ✔️ To delete your candidate account, email hello@launchmeloud.com from the address you sign in with. We will delete your profile, resume and sign-in details and remove you from matches. Details a startup already received through an application or an unlock may be kept by that startup as part of its hiring records.
